A Family of Production
Innovative was born with band family in mind. 30 years of production all started with our owner and founder Mella Dee Allen. She saw first hand the love of music and marching arts as the spouse of band director Tim Allen. With that lense she saw something important many other large marching manufactures have missed. Marching arts is for all. From the biggest programs, to the smallest of home grown. Both Deserve the same care, attention to detail, and custom creativity. So she sought to fill that need with her home band first, right here in Columbia KY. Creating custom flags for many years, before expanding to other programs across the state of Kentucky, and nationally. Supplying to generations of band families, the innovative way!

Practice Silks
We offer practice silks in all shapes and sizes, from standard to completely custom shape. So your performers can feel comfortable at rehearsal without damaging performance silks. Custom Image/ Hybrid Silks
Our flags are completely custom from sleeve to tail. Take it one step further by using custom prints, or for even more impact try any hybrid model of print and lame. We use two of the largest print sources for flags in the country to bring you that custom flare, right on time for your season.
Specialty Silks
In our land of custom it isn’t just prints, we also do specialties.
You need a massive oversized silk, fly overs, need hidden sleeves, textures, zippers, or something that’s never been done? We are your in house source of creativity. Send us a reference, or come visit us in person to design creativity into reality!
